Fergal Hartley


Fergal Hartley co-founded Hartley People in 2001. He has worked in Recruitment, Training and Outplacement since 1998 and has developed a wealth of experience in the industry. Fergal has a degree in Business Studies from the University of Limerick and commenced his career in Project Engineering / Management in the manufacturing sector.

Roisin Hartley


Roisin Hartley co-founded Hartley People in 2001. Roisin began her career in Recruitment and Training in 1998 when she set up a contract/temp recruitment agency in Waterford City. Over the last 10 years, she has developed a wealth of experience in both recruitment and training and has a loyal customer base in the South East.

Fiona Hartley

Career Coach, Director of Career Services

Fiona joined Hartley People in 2008. She has an MSc in Personal and Executive Coaching from University College Cork. She is also a member of the British Psychology Society and registered to administer many types of aptitude and personality tests.

Susan Whyte

Operations Manager

Susan joined the team in 2003, originally as a Training Consultant but subsequently progressed to Training Manager. Having recently completed a Degree in Education, Susan has vast experience of training delivery and planning; assessment compliance and quality controls systems. Susan is responsible for the training, development and progression planning for all staff in Hartley People

Edel Tobin

Marketing Manager

Edel graduated University of East London in 2001 with a degree in Communications. She worked as a magazine journalist in London for nine years before taking up post as Brand Communications Manager with UK manufacturer, Challs International. Returning to Ireland in 2016 she continued to work remotely before joining Hartley People in 2018, overseeing marketing

Deirdre Enright

Director of Operations - 3sixty

A graduate of UCC, Deirdre has an extensive management background having led Ladieswear, Childrenswear and Beauty departments in Brown Thomas Cork where she managed teams of up to 120 people, covering all aspects of HR, Finance, Project Management, Marketing, Eventing and Customer Service. After returning from the Middle East, she joined the Hartley People team in

Gary Honer

Talent Specialist

Gary graduated in 2009 with a B.A. (Hons) Degree in History & Political Science from Trinity College Dublin, as well as a certificate in Higher Education. Prior to working in Hartley People, Gary worked for five years as an advisor to a Government T.D. in Dáil Éireann. Gary specialises in recruiting for roles in Production

Sarah Delaney

Administration Coordinator

Having previously worked for an Auctioneer company in Australia, Waterford native Sarah returned to Ireland in 2017 to continue working in administration. She joined the Hartley People team in 2018 as our Administration Coordinator and is the first person you will meet when you visit our Waterford office at 29 Manor St.

Eamonn Hogan

Talent Specialist

Eamonn graduated in 2010 with a Degree in Business Studies specialising in Marketing. He has a wide range of experience across sales, customer service, insurance and banking having worked with companies such as Bank Of ireland and Cornmarket Financial Services. Eamonn specialises in recruiting for administration and IT roles.

Lauren Cottrell

Talent Specialist

Lauren has a wide range of experience in both sales and admin working for in various businesses in Waterford, including Azzurri Sport and IOCsave. She joined Hartley People in 2019 and specialises in recruiting for technician, hospitality and retail roles. Lauren is a keen footballer, playing for Benfica Ladies FC.   

Gregory Guzik

Talent Specialist

Greg Guzik joined Hartley People in April 2019 as a Talent Specialist recruiting for care of call centre roles, as well as quality (QA/QC), compliance and validation roles at all levels. Greg studied in Warsaw School of Economics, working in a call centre during his studies. He turned to recruitment after more than 12 years

Wendy Gaule

Accounts Administrator

Having previously worked with Mount Congreve Estate Limited for almost 25 years, Wendy developed a successful managerial career within an environment that encompassed separate companies and interests. In 2014 she joined Hartley People as an Accounts Administrator. Wendy has completed a Certificate in Information Technology – University of Cambridge.

Laura Foskin

Recruitment Team Leader

Laura joined Hartley People in 2014 as a Talent Specialist and progressed to the role of Senior Talent Specialist in 2016. Having previously worked in recruitment and banking in Australia Laura returned to Ireland where she continued with her recruitment career in Dublin before joining Hartley People.

Gillian Bailey

Operations Manager

Gillain joined Hartley People in 2016 as our Training and HR Officer. She has over 6 years experience as a Revenue Assurance and Reporting Specialist within the telecommunications industry and 7 years experience in HR and payroll within the health care sector.

Eddie Kiely

Recruitment Supervisor

Eddie joined the Hartley People team in July 2017. He has international experience in Telecommunications, Finance and IT sectors. Eddie Specialises in recruiting for Sales, IT and Training roles.

Deborah Flynn

Payroll Manager

Debbie joined Hartley people at the very beginning in 2001 as our Payroll Officer. She manages all aspects of temporary AND permanent employment contracts involving in excess of 500 staff. Debbie holds a Diploma in Legal Studies & Export Law from Waterford Institute of Technology, she is also an IAPA Certified Payroll Technician.

Ciara O Byrne

Finance Manager

Ciara is ACCA qualified with an Advanced Diploma in Business and Accounting. Having previously worked as Finance Manager for a large services company she joined Hartley People in 2007 and currently heads our Finance Division whilst also managing the investment portfolio for the Hartley People Group.

Eileen Kehoe

Talent Acquisition Specialist

Eileen joined Hartley People in November 2016. She has a Degree in Marketing and completed a Diploma in Digital Marketing in 2016. She has experience in Sales, Customer Service and Marketing having worked in the financial and food sector. Eileen specialises in the recruitment of Marketing, Construction, Customer Service and Administration roles.
