Our client is a highly progressive global multinational based in the South-east.

We are now seeking to fill the following 4 month contact assignment as :

QUALITY MANAGER (contract)

· Must have an emphasis on continuous improvement of processes, quality management systems and compliance.

· Key role in defining a quality improvement strategy which will lead to financial benefits.

§ Promotion of continuous improvement through a positive QA culture.

§ Identifies areas of improvement through the analysis of warranty issues, internal audit & customer complaints.

§ Anticipation of future regulations and standards.

§ Ensure conformity with legal & company requirements.

§ Evaluates & prioritises projects to ensure resources are directed towards achievement of the strategy.

§ Leads the development and implementation of a system for process measurement and monitoring to control quality and identify areas for improvement

§ To manage and maintain quality standards.

§ To ensure all employees are suitably trained in areas such as hygiene.

· To ensure all employees receive hygiene training commensurate to their role in the operations.

§ To promote quality initiatives throughout the organisation.

· Communicate key quality measures to process/production teams

· To provide technical support to Operations.

· To promote food safety awareness through out the organisation.

· To ensure that test results generated by QA are accurate, timely, and support the key processes.

· Manage approval of new vendors and develop and implement a system for supplier measurement to develop and improve material quality.

· Manage the validation of all new systems, processes, procedures

Represent the company on external committees as necessary
